1)    Past Tense
Simple past Tense is used to reveal the events that have occurred on a certain time in the past. Events can be short or long. Means also into several events occur one by one. In general, There are two facts important thing to remember in this English tenses:
·         irregular verbs (Irregular Verbs)
·          Negative sentences and questions are not like positive sentences but maintain the basic form of the verb
Example
1.    I sent you a letter a month ago
2.    Megawati won president election several month ago
3.    I did not expext this happened
4.    Did they allow to join their football club?
5.    Did he deliver the order on time?

2)    Past Continous Tense
Past Continuous Tense reveals actions in the past being take place. Action can sometimes also be interrupted by something. Form of language tenses English is also called Past Progressive Tense.
Usage:
·         On going action
·         On going on going activities [Past Continuous] + When + [Past Simple]
·         On going activities at the same time in the past
·         Conditional / polite questions
Example
1.    Raisa and afgan were singing together in a TV show at 9 o’clock last night
2.    He was reading a book while the library was closed
3.    You were not listening to me when I told you to turn the oven off
4.    I was working at the factory in 2011
5.    Was she washing my car while I was ironing my clothes?

3)    Present Perfect Continous
The Present Perfect Continuous reveals actions that have been initiated in the past and
Now still continues. English tenses are also used to tell events that started in the past and just finished.
Usage:
·         actions that have started in the past and are still continuing now
·          actions that have just stopped
Example
1.    Jihan has not been watering those flowers
2.    I have been eating sandwich
3.    She has been bringing many so she feels heavy now
4.    Many books have been being brought by her
5.    Have I been feeding cats?

4)    Present Perfect Tense
Present Perfect tense form in English tenses used for a simple or ongoing simple actions stop, but has an influence to the present. Puts emphasis on results.
Usage:
·         actions that occur at an uncertain time before this time
·         Past action and influence in the present
·         acts that began in the past and still continue in the present
Example
1.    I have told you not to disturb my girl friend
2.    I have been gone to Bali Island for three time
3.    Don’t pass over here, the floor has just been mopped
4.    Oh my god, I have not turn the stove off
5.    Has the rain stopped now?

5)    Past Perfect
We use Past Pefect (simple) tense to indicate an action in the past relates to other previous actions in the past.
Usage:
·         recounts a completed action before any other actions of the time then
·         Conditional Sentence Type III If + subject + Past perfect + Would have + verb III If we had known the answer, we would have told you
·         indirect sentences (reported speech)
Example
1.    That all I could give to her, before she died last year
2.    Had you ever been to Bali before you went there last year
3.    I had locked the door before I left my home
4.    Having finished walking for a smile, she took a rest for a while
5.    I would not let you go until you had accomplished your home work

6)    Future Tense
Is a verb form used to state that an action takes place in the future, spontaneously or planned. This tense can also be used to form conditional sentence type 1.
Example
1.    I will make you smile
2.    You will cry for this condition
3.    Andy will play football in the next time
4.    Suneo will singing a song in the class
5.    They will help up there
